Looks great, Louis. Need to make a canopy. How is the weight? Tommy did you ever weigh yours? I am going to try and rig mine this weekend and weigh it.

I test flew mine this weekend. It flies well, even in the wind. Needed no extra weight for balance. I hate these bushing motors. I ran about four tanks in it before it started running any where near "right". It is no speed demon, and seems to be very finicky about the prop. if you underprop these engines, they will overheat significantly, so beware.
Flies good though, and it is easy to see in the air. I guess that is why they chose these planes for this type of event....haha

What prop are you running? Is yours a LA46? I have a quart of Castor if you want to add an oz or so to your fuel.

I tried it with a 10X6, not enough prop, engine would overheat and quit in the air.
Tried a 12 x5 and it might make 40 mph on a down hill run but really felt like it couldn't get out of its own way, again the heating issue was better.
Went to a 11x6, a little more speed , engine runs well, but still has no speed.
I am running 15% nitro fuel with 18% oil, brand new fuel.
I am certainly not impressed with the .46LA.
I put four more flights on it Monday, and four on Tuesday. All of the screws on the backplate need to be removed and put Locktite in place, I lost two of them on the first flight.

Hi guys!
Tim Batt here, I've been promoting Club 40 here in the North Alabama area for a couple of years. We are having a real blast and bringing in competitors from TN, Georgia and cities around Huntsville. At our last race we had 20 entries. Come on out and race with us! We will be glad to help you out and show you the fast way to get around the pylons.
